OEM Spark Plugs

In your vehicle’s engine, you need a spark plug to start your vehicle. The spark plug is a small electrical device inside the engine responsible for igniting a compressed mixture of air and fuel. Inside the combustion chamber, a spark ignites the mixture. This ignition results in a controlled explosion. Gas expands inside the chamber, moving the pistons, and running your car.

When your spark plug doesn't work at all, then you won’t be able to start your engine. At minimum, a faulty spark plug causes an engine to misfire. Often, spark plugs wear out due to many reasons, such as engine oil flowing into the combustion chamber or repeated engine overheating. A dirty air filter also causes black dry soot on the electrode, which is carbon buildup. A lack of calibration also causes a spark plug to erode. A correct gap between the plug’s center and the side electrodes is needed.
